    SIMPLE IRA: What It Is and How It Works

    A SIMPLE IRA allows self-employed and small business owners to contribute funds toward their employees' and their own retirement savings.

      SIMPLE IRA Contribution limits are up $500 to $16,500 for 2025. A higher catch-up contribution limit applies for employees aged 60, 61, 62 and 63 in 2025.
